Innovation marks the history of NOIA. From inception in 1984 to the present, NOIA has
introduced new ideas about how radiology can be practiced and has pushed forward the
development of teleradiology and web technology. Throughout its history, NOIA has remained
true to is mission - Focus, Expertise, Experience, Service.

1984 - Marin Radiology opened its first MRI center, Marin Magnetic Imaging, in Marin County, California.

1989 - Dr. Jay Kaiser conceived of the NOIA vision within Marin Radiology Medical Group.
  NOIA establishes first teleradiology association with the MR center in South Lake Tahoe.

2001 - NOIA reaches a network size of over 20 facilities across the United States and 1 facility in Asia, serviced by 8 full-time musculoskeletal NOIA radiologists.
